 Sunday, 25 June 2006 at 3:48:00 AM PDT KC Songbook Vol. 2 Sessions Complete The Crimson Jazz Trio finished recording the King Crimson Songbook, Volume 2 this week. The album is slated to include eight new arrangements of classic King Crimson pieces: "Sailor's Tale/Formentera Lady", "Inner Garden" (with vocals by Jody Nardone), "One Time", "Lament", "The Court of the Crimson King", "Pictures of a City", "Heartbeat" and "Frame by Frame". Ian Wallace reports that the band had even more fun arranging and playing the songs for their second release than during the first recording session. While the second Songbook still needs to be mixed and mastered, Ian, Jody and Tim are already saddling up for a handful of gigs in Europe (see the Gigs page) and are exploring the possibility of a more thorough tour during the later months of 2006.
